The Samsung Galaxy A17 5G is an affordable 5G phone with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display (1080 x 2340 pixels, 90Hz, 800 nits in high brightness mode) protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. Its slim 7.5mm, 192g body uses a glass-fiber reinforced plastic back and a plastic frame, and it is IP54 rated against dust and splashes. The 5nm Exynos 1330 chipset is paired here with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, expandable via microSDXC (shared SIM slot). On the back is a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization, joined by a 5MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro, and there is a 13MP selfie camera; video recording is 1080p at 30fps. A 5000mAh battery supports 25W wired charging. The A17 5G launched with Android 15 and is promised up to 6 major OS updates. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.3 are included, with NFC depending on the market.
